Adjudicator Definition

Adjudicator: The decision-maker in the adjudication process. This person's role is to study and settle conflicts and disputes. He or she will have experience in dispute resolution and may also be a construction industry professional. Most adjudicators are quantity surveyors, architects, engineers or lawyers and make their services available through one (or more) of the Adjudicator Nominating Bodies.
